17. September-
After a day filled with sadness due to the loss of a friend, i made my way to the Kieler Kaufmann for my weekly Rotary Meeting. Throughout this meeting i became much happier, and my spirits lifted a bit. Following the meeting i headed to my bus stop with my dear friend, Rodrigo Campos from Lima, Peru, where I made a complete 360 from depressed to laughing myself to the point of peeing... so i thank you Rodri... and Gute Nacht :)
27. September-
Well recently I have kept myself rather occupied, hence the last update being 10 days ago. I have been almost arrested for something i still don’t understand, going to school, and hanging out with my dear friend Rodrigo Campos (Lima, Peru). However more of my time has been used up by working/ doing favors for a very good friend and Rotary Host Mother, Antje Sommerfeld. This woman’s kindness knows NO bounds, not only has she invited me on countless trips (some being to Spain, Berlin multiple times, and Italy), but also has taken care of me when i am in need. In return i offered my services to help her move out of her old flat into a new home. Along with this move came many home renovation projects in which I gladly took part in. When Rotary had said you will make friends that will transcend through your lifetime they meant it, we have already agreed that when she visits the United States that i will take of her as she has me and will travel around showing her the sights. The Trip to Spain that I mentioned is in 10 days, we will depart from Bremen Airport and fly into Barcelona Girona where Antje will rent a car; from there, over the course of 3 weeks we will visit Valencia, Granade, Malaga, and Madrid. We will also share the company of my greatest friends and RYE family members of Paola Isunza and Mariel Ledon from Mexico, Rodrigo Campos from Peru, Bryan (Chen-Chun Kao) from Taiwan, and Anya Benedicto, Antje’s exchange student, from the Philippines.... Wish me luck on this journey and i thank every single person who helped me get to where i am today... Gute Nacht :)
28. September-
Today and Tomorrow i continue to work, i’m growing very, very, tired.... not from the work so to say, more of a mental exhaustion from always having my brain being in Translate Overdrive. i finally return home at 9 o’clock and all i have the energy to do is collapse on my bed... Some issues from back home are also contributing to a bit of a sad mood, nothing anybody need worry about, it is nothing that would ever stop me from enjoying my experience here. it’s hard to believe that nearly 10 weeks ago (over 2 months) i arrived... hard to believe and rather depressing. Anyways, i’m already falling asleep, and must wake up at 6 o’clock tomorrow (horrible for a Saturday)... Gute Nacht :)
