HamburgTag (Oktober 27.)
Today all of the RYE Inbounds and Rotex met in the city of Hamburg. We visited many sites, such as Sankt Michaels Kirche (St. Michael's Church), the emigration museum, and the local plaza. At the end of the Rotex event, many others traveled home on their trains, while I, along with a couple friends remained in the city to get to know the other Hamburg Exchange Students better. We began at a Cafe, and slowly made our way through the city seeing the some more interesting places the Rotex did not have time to show us. Through this I came into contact with a young man from Mexico called, Claudio, and by coincidence, HIS host family is Janne Marie's HOME family. (for those who do not know, Janne, is the exchange student from Germany who is living in my hometown and attending my school.) So i had the great pleasure of dining at their house for the evening and getting to know them, They love and miss you Janne, and also hope you are having a great time!
