Frohe Weihnachten

As we reach the high point of our Christmas Season here in Germany my family and I are deciding to have a muli-culture fest. We are incorporating the American traditions of food that i make back home and the decorating of the tree (mostly international), the Peruvian traditions that take place with the family and music, and the German Advents festivities, Weihnachtsmarkt, and days of opening gifts and such. And as I look at this wonder of a Christmas Season I can't help but think of a better gift to receive than to be here, and now, with a second family, that loves me dearly and treats me like one of their own... I wish you all the best of Seasons greetings, wherever you may be in the world. No matter which culture, no matter where, we of the RYEP share the love of a huge, interconnected, global, family.
